About the role
Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants that create opportunities to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.
The Senior Manager, Product Management - Amex Offers API Services & AI Solutions will be responsible for managing a critical API product that supports internal and external presentment needs for Amex Offers data. This role will manage enterprise-level API services that enable discovery, search, presentment, and delivery experiences across B2B and prop channels.
In addition to owning the Offers API product roadmap, this individual will serve as a key AI enablement leader for the team. They will be the go-to product partner for identifying, evaluating, and scaling practical uses of emerging AI tools and technologies across capability delivery. This includes helping the team improve product development workflows, accelerate discovery and delivery, support experimentation, and serve as a centralized solutions expert for responsible AI adoption.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager with deep knowledge of enterprise API services, strong technical fluency, familiarity with advertising technology or digital marketing
3-6+ years of digital product management, enterprise API services, or product-forward strategy experience, ideally with a focus on developer-facing B2B products.
Strong technical fluency, with the ability to partner closely with engineering and architecture teams on API design, system dependencies, data flows, scalability, resiliency, and delivery tradeoffs.
Experience translating customer, partner, user, and stakeholder needs into product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to self-start, create structure in ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence.
Practical understanding of AI tools and emerging technologies, including familiarity with Large Language Models, prompt engineering concepts, AI-assisted workflows, and responsible AI adoption.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and business needs for technical teams.
Experience working with engineering, analytics, and cross-functional business teams in Agile environments.
Familiarity with advertising technology, digital marketing or card-linked offer platforms, or B2B/partner-facing products is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or a related field preferred; advanced degree is a plus.

Compensation
This Other role pays $123k-$215k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
