About the role:

SMSF Accountant – Perth Business Advisory Team

Location: Perth, WA

Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join RSM’s Perth Business Advisory team and play a key role in our SMSF processing division .

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, delivering high-quality compliance services for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) while supporting other SMSF specialists.

What You’ll Do

Prepare SMSF work papers and financial statements in line with current legal and accounting standards.

Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve queries promptly.

Identify and address relevant accounting and compliance issues.

Assist with client meetings and prepare supporting documentation.

Ensure compliance with lodgement programs and deadlines.

About you:

What We’re Looking For

Education:

Essential: Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major

Desirable:

CA or equivalent (completed or in progress)

SMSF Specialist course

Experience & Attributes:

1–2 years in a similar role

Proficiency with Class Super

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
