About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Lead to join a large enterprise technical solutions team. This is a hands‑on contractor role — no direct reports, no hand‑holding. You’ll be the senior engineer driving infrastructure delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

This role is infra‑heavy - designing, configuring, and delivering AWS infrastructure, networking, and secure integrations.

Program & Project Scope

You will contribute across several infrastructure-led initiatives, including backend platform uplift supporting customer and digital capabilities, integration-heavy workloads involving secure data and file movement, collaboration with architects on cloud platform design and evolution, and broader AWS infrastructure optimisation and modernisation initiatives. Project allocation will depend on experience, with exposure to multiple streams across the engagement.

Required Skills

• AWS infrastructure expertise (design, migration, configuration)

• Infra generalist background — networks, cloud, middleware

• Globalscape or similar tools for secure transfer

• Automation/IaC — Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible

• Strong communication — stakeholder engagement and clear reporting

• Proven independence in complex enterprise environments
