Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Ruby Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client provides a cloud-based platform that helps businesses manage their spending.

You will be part of a global agile group that is responsible for building the best-in-class SaaS platform, deployment infrastructure, and services.

The Technology Platform Team is responsible for the backbone of the Enterprise SaaS Application. They evaluate and introduce new technologies where it makes sense, developing features that can impact all customers. The team develops tools and frameworks to improve processes, works in close collaboration with Operations, and holds the bar very high for what we deliver.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development.

Strong knowledge of Ruby.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent experience.

Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud native application development.

Understanding of deployment based on AWS and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of Git.

Experience providing estimates and implementing complex systems.

Proven understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.

Experience working in an Agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologies.

Familiarity with scalability, high availability, and concurrency.

Self-motivated, go-getter, passion for learning, strong communication skills.

Design, develop, maintain, and scale platform systems and services.

Participate in operational design and code reviews.

Find creative, elegant, and maintainable solutions to complex problems.
