About the role
Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day accounting entries).
Handle general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
Track receivables and follow up for collections.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
3. Bank & Cash Management
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash.
Handle banking transactions and coordination.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Handle GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Ensure timely submission of returns and payments.
Maintain proper documentation for audits.
5. Payroll Support
Assist in payroll processing and salary reconciliation.
Ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT) are accurate.
6. Audit & Reporting
Support internal and external audits.
Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
Identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
7. Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Track expenses and control costs.
8. Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
Liaise with banks, tax consultants, and vendors.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Experience in GST, TDS, and compliance
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Experience:
4–7 years in accounting/finance role
