Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a QA Engineer for a full-time on-site position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a finance company and an alternative lending platform focused on providing capital access to small and medium-sized businesses.
You'll join the team and support the quality of a fintech origination platform. The role involves hands-on functional and regression testing, integration testing strategy, and active participation across the full development lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience with test automation and familiarity with automation tools and frameworks.
Strong experience with Python and/or JavaScript for test scripting.
Knowledge of testing frameworks like Playwright.
Understanding of developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases from requirements.
Understanding of manual regression testing.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
NICE TO HAVE
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in requirements analysis and develop a thorough understanding of the product, business logic, and the fintech domain.
Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with the project's long-term direction.
Execute functional and regression testing on new features, working against the client’s test environment.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Support user acceptance testing alongside the client’s product manager.
Contribute to the integration testing strategy in coordination with backend engineers.
Participate in evaluating and setting up QA tooling as the team’s testing capabilities evolve.
Act as a subject matter expert on quality assurance practices within the team.
