What You’ll Do:
Provide full legal support to SP Group companies in both Singapore and overseas jurisdictions, in respect of a broad spectrum of matters, including but not limited to rendering legal advice and handling of agreements in respect of the following types of activities:
Mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, including the structuring, negotiating and drafting of share / asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and other associated transaction documents;
Business operations and activities that are subject to regulatory oversight;
Infrastructure project development, including offtake agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, and operations and maintenance contracts, as well as issues and/or disputes arising from the same;
Rooftop solar solutions;
District cooling services and heating services;
Establishment and operation of electric vehicle charging networks, microgrids and other renewable / sustainability solutions;
Collaborations to drive research, development and implementation of next-generation energy solutions and technologies;
Procurement contracts and tenders
Handle claims, investigations, disputes and related litigious matters
Handle general corporate and commercial matters such as loan agreements, lease agreements and employment matters
Establish and manage relationships with external legal firms
Oversight of legal risks across SP Group’s functions and business divisions
Update on new laws and regulations and alerting impacted divisions/functions
What You’ll Need:
Degree in Law from a recognised University
At least 7 years post-qualification experience in practice and/or in-house
Possess excellent legal analytical skills, drafting and negotiation skills
Commercial minded, strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Good initiative, able to drive projects and possess a strong sense of accountability
