We are looking for a hands-on engineering intern to help us improve the annotation platform used by our data team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain frontend and backend features for the internal video annotation platform.
Improve core platform workflows and user experience.
Improve annotation templates to support new tasks more efficiently.
Maintain databases and improve platform stability, reliability, and scalability.
Build simple integrations with external tools to improve workflow automation.
Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to improve development efficiency while keeping the code reliable.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Some experience with frontend and backend development.
Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
Basic experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Able to debug issues and improve existing systems.
Comfortable working with imperfect systems and unclear requirements.
Strong ownership and good communication skills.
