Job Description
About the role:
Represent our luxury Home Appliance brand Gaggenau within the BSH showroom network, delivering impeccably curated product demonstrations and elevated customer experiences for homeowners, design professionals, retail and commercial partners. You’ll be the face of our luxury appliance brand in-market, responsible for driving brand advocacy and sales through expert product knowledge, thoughtful presentation and memorable events.
What you will be doing:
Consultation & Product Advice
Deliver professional consultations for booked appointments and walk-ins, including liaison with consumers, retail partners, designers and architects, ensuring "best choice" options are recommended
Highlight relevant product USPs and other specified topics, such as brand story or product features as defined by BSH
Prepare sales quotes, follow up pre & post-purchase related enquiries and coordinate appointments
Deal promptly and efficiently with all telephone/email communications
Manage mail-out requests and monitor supply levels to ensure adequate stock
Showroom Administration & Support
Assist in coordinating all showroom bookings and ensure all appliances are functioning without fault
Assist in ticketing, set-up of displays and merchandising as required
Ensure immaculate presentation of the showroom and appliances at all times
Ensure housekeeping is carried out at the close of business each day in preparation for the next trading day
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and up-to-date product knowledge
Maintain supply levels of all relevant marketing and promotional materials
Attend regular product training sessions
Assist in organising maintenance personnel for showroom repairs, including new appliance installation, joinery and other on-site repairs
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to levels of service
Event Planning & Management
Support the Showroom Manager with the planning, organisation and hosting of events, including sourcing relevant suppliers and required items
Assist in coordinating and supporting external chef partners for cooking demonstrations, including setting and resetting of the dining room and back-of-house support
Support the broader team with event and RSVP management to execute product launches, consumer demonstrations, retailer training and business partner functions
Ensure food and beverage service is in line with relevant Food Safety Standards and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements
Customer relationships and after-sales service
Cultivate relationships with architects, designers and specifiers to originate and organise new business development initiatives, including prospect events and exhibitions to increase brand awareness
Build strong, influential relationships with the specifier, designer and architect (SDA) community through interactions and planned events
Take customers through a consultative and educational process, assessing their needs, guiding product selections and advising on specifications
Deliver an exceptional customer experience befitting of the brand being represented
Provide timely after-sales customer service and ensure every enquiry is followed up
Data Tracking & Reporting
Maintain a database of all enquiries via the CRM system where practical
Collate data into the CRM system from customer enquiries, showroom visits and demonstrations
Monitor and follow up on consumer sales enquiries
Maintain accurate records and complete all administration as required
Consumer & Competitor Insights
Draw on local shopper and consumer insights and share opportunities for improvement with the Customer Experience Manager
Monitor competitor activities and report findings to the team
Compliance
Maintain the privacy of databases in line with Australian legislative requirement

Previous exposure in luxury consumer retail or showroom environment
Established industry relationships
Proactive and able to manage time and prioritise effectively
Excellent attention to detail
Exposure to home appliance industry
Self-confident and convincing communicator (oral and written)
Work well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to exercise diplomacy
Skilled in negotiation
Computer literacy MS Office
Desirable:
Awareness of other BSH and competitor products
Ability to handle technical drawings and specifications
Passion for food, wine, cooking
Responsible Service of Alcohol
