About Red Chris

Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. As part of our team you will

Support cost control, forecasting, and reporting across multiple projects

Monitor budgets, track variances, and provide actionable insights

Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and site teams

Maintain contract data, invoicing, and project financials in ERP systems

Contribute to planning, scheduling, and project performance reviews

Assist with logistics coordination to enable efficient project delivery

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Several years’ experience in project controls, cost tracking, or similar

Familiarity with cost management and project delivery processes

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Experience with tools such as SAP, Primavera, MS Project, or similar systems

Relevant qualification in engineering, finance, or related discipline (preferred)

Willingness to work in a remote, fly-in fly-out environment

The expected salary range for this role is CA$$81,100 - $101,400 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
