DevOps Engineer I

Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer I, you will report to the Sr. MANAGER. 0-2 years’ experience working with development teams and CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps (ADO)

Responsibilities:

Support requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for infrastructure enhancements and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for build, release, and deployment processes.

Assist in implementing DevOps best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined timelines and quality standards.

Participate in the design and implementation of solutions using approved tools, technologies, and frameworks.

Contribute to and review deployment plans, including scheduling installations, upgrades, and production fixes.

Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and organizational standards when modifying infrastructure and pipelines.

Work closely with IT Security and Operations teams to enable secure and reliable DevOps practices.

Follow industry-standard processes to enhance operational efficiency, deployment speed, and solution quality.

Align IT Security and IT Operations teams to ensure DevOps processes operate safely and securely.

Support analytical and design activities using approved technologies aligned with organizational standards and methodologies.

Qualifications:

0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or IT Operations roles.

Hands-on experience or academic exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jenkins.

Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or Azure DevOps Repos.

Basic familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible.

Awareness of DevSecOps practices and exposure to tools like SonarQube, Fortify, or JFrog Xray.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
