AI Lead, Gaming Product

Gaming is building a unified AI platform to power personalization across our products, enabling more relevant, dynamic customer experiences at scale.

With gaming recommender systems already in production, we are now extending these capabilities into a broader, data-driven intelligence layer that drives decisioning across the gaming product.

We are seeking an AI Lead to identify, prioritise, and deliver AI opportunities across our gaming product, ensuring technical capabilities are translated into scalable customer experiences that drive measurable business and customer value.

What you’ll do

Shape and guide AI-driven personalisation initiatives, contributing to ensuring measurable impact on engagement and revenue.

Translate from algorithm to customer — coordinating how cutting-edge AI can deliver hyper personalized customer understanding to power best-in-class gaming product features.

Prototype and validate AI solutions rapidly, using hands-on skills to test hypotheses before scaling through engineering.

Shape and ensure the customer benefits of gaming personalisation features (e.g. content ranking, lobby configuration, recommendations), as core gaming product capabilities.

Deliver pricing insight capabilities that deepen understanding of customer price sensitivity, informing smarter product decisions across the gaming product

Establish advanced experimentation frameworks to optimise gaming product decisions, defining success metrics grounded in real customer behaviour rather than model performance alone.

Work in partnership with data teams to ensure solution technical quality and alignment with gaming product goals.

Partner with engineering to embed AI effectively into production systems with low latency and high scalability.

How you’ll do it

Essential

4+ years delivering AI-powered products with proven commercial impact.

Strong depth in modern AI — comfortable evaluating, collaborating on and hands-on prototyping solutions including LLM-based and agentic approaches.

Proven ability to bridge technical and product domains, translating complex AI capabilities into clear product decisions.

Understanding of the AI product lifecycle, with the ability to make informed product decisions at each stage from model development through to production deployment.

Experience working with Data Science and Engineering teams across the full AI product lifecycle.

Hands-on prototyping skills — able to build working AI solutions and proof-of-concepts to validate product hypotheses quickly.

Strong understanding of how AI systems operate in production, particularly low-latency, high-scale decisioning environments.

Deep experience with experimentation and iterative optimisation to drive product performance.

Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical trade-offs and influencing senior team members.

Highly Desirable:

Experience delivering recommendation or personalisation systems at scale.

Familiarity with modelling user behaviour and journeys to inform product decisioning (e.g. sequence modelling, representation learning).

Experience in high-frequency, customer-facing environments such as gaming, e-commerce, or marketplaces.

Experience shaping real-time or near-real-time product decisioning systems.

Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative or technical field.

Advise prioritisation of AI-driven gaming product opportunities based on customer impact, commercial value, and technical feasibility.

Ensure responsible use of AI within gaming product, embedding privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance into design and delivery.
