Summary

As an NVIDIA Omniverse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Digital Twin and AI-powered simulation solutions using the NVIDIA Omniverse platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions that integrate real-time 3D visualization, OpenUSD, AI, cloud technologies, and industrial systems. Your role will involve technical leadership, solution development, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful project delivery while driving innovation across Industry X engagements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead for NVIDIA Omniverse-based Digital Twin and simulation projects.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using NVIDIA Omniverse Kit SDK, OpenUSD, and Python.

Develop and customize Omniverse extensions, connectors, and workflows based on business requirements.

Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define scalable technical solutions.

Integrate Omniverse solutions with enterprise platforms such as PLM, MES, ERP, IoT, and cloud services.

Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, code reviews, and design sessions.

Mentor and guide development teams while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Drive sprint planning, effort estimation, technical delivery, and issue resolution.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Support client workshops, proof of concepts (POCs), technical demonstrations, and solution presentations.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, RTX, AI, and simulation technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have Skills

6–8 years of software development experience.

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in NVIDIA Omniverse development.

Strong proficiency in:

o NVIDIA Omniverse Kit SDK

o OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description)

o Python Programming

o Omniverse Extension Development

o Digital Twin and Real-Time 3D Visualization

Experience integrating Omniverse applications with enterprise systems and APIs.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS.

Experience with software development methodologies, Agile practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.

Good to Have Skills

Unity or Unreal Engine development experience.

NVIDIA Isaac Sim.

NVIDIA RTX technologies.

AI/ML or Generative AI integration.

IoT and Industrial Automation.

PLM, MES, ERP integration.

Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Semiconductor, or Industry 4.0 solutions.

Additional Information

The candidate should have 6–8 years of overall experience, with at least 2–3 years of relevant NVIDIA Omniverse development experience.

Prior experience leading development teams or acting as a technical lead is preferred.

Experience in delivering Digital Twin, Industrial Metaverse, or AI simulation solutions will be an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications: NVIDIA Omniverse Certified Professional, NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) Certifications, Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP), TOGAF or equivalent Certification

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
