About the role
As an Account Director, you will serve as a strategic marketing leader and trusted client partner, driving revenue growth while delivering high‑impact, integrated consumer marketing solutions across retail and brand environments.
Lead and grow a portfolio of revenue‑driving clients, serving as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact.
Drive new business development by proactively selling integrated consumer marketing and retail solutions.
Own end‑to‑end campaign strategy and execution including creative development, media planning, merchandising, and retail activations.
Partner with clients’ marketing, sales, and HQ teams to align programs with brand, sales, and growth objectives.
Act as the marketing subject‑matter expert, integrating with sales teams to deliver volume, revenue, and platform growth.
Manage retailer relationships, timelines, and logistics to ensure flawless execution of promotions and platform events.
Oversee budgets, estimates, vendor partners, and financial performance to maximize ROI.
Leverage consumer insights, category data, and post‑event analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
Provide clear project updates, recaps, and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.

Travel up to 25% as needed.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
Experience
8+ years of agency experience in retail, shopper marketing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferred.
Experience with research, analytics, and post‑promotional analysis is a plus.
Background working with retail programs and in‑store marketing initiatives strongly preferred.
Skills & Capabilities
Proven self‑starter with strong leadership, influence, and project management skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and client‑facing abilities.
Deep understanding of integrated marketing functions, including creative development, brand management, media planning/buying, financial impact, and campaign measurement.
Strong working knowledge of broker, manufacturer, and agency environments, with the ability to navigate cross‑functional priorities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously while driving results.
Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable using data to inform strategy and recommendations.
Creative, assertive, collaborative, and results‑driven with a strong sense of urgency.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and creative tools preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Sit for extended periods (typically 6+ hours per day)
Use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods
Lift and carry light items (e.g., files, office supplies, laptops, typically 20+ pounds)
Reach, bend, or stoop occasionally to access files or office materials
Maintain focus and attention for long periods of desk-based work

This Other role pays $94k-$108k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
