We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement COE team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Specialist – Digital Media & Graphic Design

The incumbent in this role will ensure robust design solutions with high quality delivery to the sales leaders, consultants, and business development team. This position entails accountability of Design process – ideating, designing, quality assurance & branding across all levels of project complexities. The role will focus on:

Utilizing visual storytelling techniques, including graphics and multimedia, to engage the audience effectively

Creating novel & impactful visual concepts independently for client-facing collaterals with accuracy, enacting differentiators in the market

Essential artistic abilities to communicate ideas, solve problems and coordination with all relevant stakeholders

Delivering quality service to the stakeholders by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency in project management

Collaborating with businesses on strategic initiatives as well as working on operational improvements to benefit the design process

Flexibility to work with global stakeholders for project management & discussion/calls

Demonstrating a strong understanding of visual identity & design principles

Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and staying updated on the latest trends to continuously improve their skills

Understanding cultural sensitivity across countries and business needs of the operating companies to deliver high quality designs

We will count on you to:

Collaborate with process managers, communication specialists, designers, strategists and sales consultants to design communication/business collateral

Create client-facing materials like presentations, placemat, bio-booklet, executive summary, proposals, flyer, reports, motion graphic & animation that strictly adhere to company’s branding, templates, and design guidelines/principles

Should be able to execute from basic formatting to concept-based designs and animations across all digital, print and multimedia platforms

Comprehend & create complex charts / graphs / infographics / illustrations, and artwork, using Adobe/Microsoft software products

Manage multiple concurrent design projects while maintaining creative innovation, brand alignment, quality and continuous performance improvement.

Strong understanding of design principles and visual system – review and finalize deliverables

Strong understanding of business/project requirements and managing stakeholder’s communications promptly and seamlessly

Enact as Subject Matter Expert for Design tools and technologies

Maintain and embody quality standards by review checklists

Make reviewer changes to content and design as required with a strong attention to detail

What you need to have:

College degree in graphic design, or closely related discipline

Proven experience working as a graphic designer – minimum 3-5 years in a corporate consulting or business firm, or in a creative service environment

Mandatory proficiency in presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, and other design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.

Ability to create visually appealing and professional presentations that effectively communicate ideas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and to understand and convey complex information clearly.

Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in presentations.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated, organized and ability to work as a team

Ability to manage multiple projects at a time working under tight deadlines

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams, including marketing, sales, and executive leadership.

Problem solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships with peers

What makes you stand out:

Certified Adobe Designer / Graphic Design pertinent degree with corporate design expertise

Proficiency in UI/UX Designs; Motion graphics animation, video production/editing and using Adobe CC, Figma, other digital tools

Experience of working with senior internal stakeholders preferred

Good understanding of design principles and visual identity

Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively

Adaptable and able to pick up new technologies

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to proofreading and editing collaterals, ensuring that all content is accurate, consistent, and free of errors.

Passion for Design : A genuine enthusiasm for creating impactful design solutions and helping others communicate their ideas effectively, which can be infectious and inspire confidence in clients and colleagues.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills that facilitate collaboration with clients and team members, ensuring that the deliverable aligns with the intended message and goals.

Creative Design Skills: A strong ability to create visually compelling and innovative designs that capture attention and effectively communicate messages. This includes a keen eye for design, color theory, and layout.
