Job Description

We are looking for a SSRS Developer with strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools. This position will be full-time and onsite from Bengaluru.

What You’ll Do

Utilize coding/scripting skills on databases like SQL and data tools to develop scalable and maintainable reports and dashboards

Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and documentation practices

Identify performance bottlenecks in data processing and analytics workflows and optimize code, algorithms, and infrastructure to enhance scalability, speed, and efficiency

Implement parallel processing, caching mechanisms, and other optimization techniques as required

Provide tier 3+ support for in-group and out-of-group customers

Make safe changes to production systems, including OS, databases, and application

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database changes and enhancements with application requirements

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics, big data, and related technologies

Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improve data and analytics capabilities

What You'll Need

Required:

Proven experience as a BI Reports Developer, software engineer, or data engineer with a focus on SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

B Tech/BE in Computer Science degree

Expert-level database querying capability to build and track complex KPIs on SQL

Working experience on SQL databases

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn independently

Preferred:

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SAP BO, Power BI, or similar

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services

Experience with Databricks, Python scripting, or Grafana

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
