Project Description:

This internship provides hands-on exposure to assembly equipment operations within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with engineers and technicians to understand equipment setup, conversion, and qualification processes, while gaining exposure to data-driven approaches to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Objective of the project:

To build practical understanding of assembly equipment operations and apply basic data analysis techniques to support equipment performance and reliability improvements.

Project Scope:

Gain hands-on exposure to equipment setup, conversion, and qualification activities

Participate in analysis of equipment data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Learn how equipment performance and reliability are tracked and monitored

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and external partners on improvement initiatives

Prepare basic reports and presentations for internal sharing

Learning Opportunities:

Exposure to semiconductor assembly equipment and manufacturing processes

Understanding of equipment reliability and maintenance concepts

Introduction to data analysis and applications such as artificial intelligence in manufacturing

Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment

Development of teamwork and communication skills

Documented observations and analysis of equipment performance

Summary of improvement opportunities based on data findings

Final presentation of key learnings and recommendations
