Site Engineer (Building Construction) (3bmYWd)

About the Roles

We are seeking a Site Engineer (Building Construction) based in Central Singapore, offered as a Permanent position with a Basic Salary and a structured 5.5-day work week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM). In this role, you will support building and civil construction projects by assisting senior engineers and project managers in coordinating site activities, tracking progress, and ensuring QA/QC standards, safety compliance, and efficient execution with contractors and consultants.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support senior engineers and project managers in monitoring project progress and overall site activities

Carry out QA/QC inspections and site checks to ensure works meet project specifications and requirements

Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with authority regulations and approved standards

Enforce site safety requirements in coordination with the Safety Department

Supervise subcontractor works to ensure adherence to approved methods and materials

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams on project execution matters

Attend site and progress meetings to support coordination and implementation efforts

Assist in project planning, documentation control, and submission follow-ups

Coordinate manpower deployment, material planning, and ordering requirements

Prepare weekly site progress reports and other required project documentation

Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

Prior experience in site engineering or construction work is preferred

Strong understanding of site coordination, QA/QC inspection, and construction safety requirements

Ability to interpret construction drawings, method statements, and project specifications

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project documentation tools
