In the role of Consultant – AI Engineer, you will join the AI Engineering and Research lab team as part of the broader AI Platforms team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

In this Consultant AI Engineer role, you will:

Play a key role in our AI team, designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions that solve real business challenges and deliver meaningful impact.

Bring strong critical thinking skills, a collaborative mindset, and a deep understanding of business needs, paired with a keen attention to detail.

Be a versatile professional who demonstrates leadership, curiosity, and a passion for tackling complex problems—helping to drive innovation and advance our technology capabilities.

Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.

Play a part in defining future technology capabilities and implement leading solutions that will be used across the organisation.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

Extensive technical experience (within financial services industry preferred)

Strong programming experience in Python, unit testing, linting and other standard software development activities.

Experience using Claude code or Cursor or similar tools for development and automation of that process

Hand-on experience with Agentic or other GenAI techniques and technologies

Proficient in working with large-scale datasets and data pre-processing

Experience working with business teams to understand business requirements and desired outputs (particularly non-technical business stakeholders)
