As our next Facilities Assistant, you will support facilities operations by assisting with building maintenance, infrastructure services, vendor coordination, and administrative support. This role is essential to ensuring safe, organized, and efficient workplace environments while meeting internal service needs across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the control and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance services, including electrical, hydraulic, civil, and HVAC activities
Creating purchase requests for materials, tools, and equipment required for facilities operations
Monitoring third‑party service providers, ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with internal standards
Managing inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance materials, and administrative consumables
Assisting with facilities‑related contracts and services such as cleaning, security, concierge, and building conservation
Conducting routine facility inspections to identify repair needs or improvement opportunities
Coordinating furniture movement, room organization, and setup for internal meetings and events
Supporting internal facilities/service desk requests and ensuring timely resolution and documentation
Assisting with internal relocations, team moves, and layout changes
Ensuring compliance with workplace safety, occupational health, and sustainability standards
Performing additional duties as required to support facilities operations
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma required; technical training in Building Maintenance, Facilities, Administration, or related fields is an asset
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and supplier coordination
Familiarity with occupational safety concepts is desirable
Experience using office tools and service request or facilities management systems preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors
Initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn
Work Environment
Office and facility‑based environment
Regular interaction with internal teams and external service providers
Physical activity may include walking within buildings and occasional lifting or furniture coordination
