As a Lead Sourcing & Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for all activities related to the execution of the direct materials supplies. You'll work with the Procurement team & Suppliers to ensure On Time Delivery for goods and related documents; identify and implement continuous development programs for improving their performances, capacity and capability, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure material available in line with manufacturing and project needs.
You will be accountable to solve complex problems, execute objectives, and support short-term / long-term business goals. Ensure business strategies are followed to deliver on time customer's orders, with the proper quality. You will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the product / commodity managed.
As a Lead Sourcing & Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with Suppliers and supporting relevant Service Provider to ensure On Time Delivery for all material and documentation requirement
Partnering with supplier quality engineers and Quality Assurance to provide regular feedback about supplier performances, and refine the supplier strategy
Cooperating with Suppliers, Planning Manufacturing Operations, Project Managers, Quality and Engineering to define preventing actions, recovery plans and be responsible for key departmental performance metrics and reporting
Giving visibility to Internal customer on Supplier plan, identifying risks and opportunities and managing priorities ensure Manufacturing and Sales Plan met
Supporting the execution of risk mitigation plan related to supplier criticalities and Manufacturing / Project Management urgencies, coordinating with Material Management to support Inventory management
Partnering with Quality to support supplier surveillance and on time issues resolution, cooperating with Logistic team to generate transportation best plan to minimize cost and improve efficiency
Supporting both Vendor Recovery negotiations & results and Account Payable resolution
Supporting key procurement initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
Ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree in business administration, or, other relevant legal, contractual, commercial, procurement energy related degree, with experience in Sourcing / Procurement.
Have 5+ years of experience in Sourcing Management for the oil & gas, power or manufacturing industries.
Have experience in import and export operations.
Have experience with sourcing and buying of machining components or forged materials (desirable)
Have proven substantial fulfilment & contract management experiences in project environment.
Have proven track record in contributing to the improvement of Sourcing profitability, cash flow and control of commercial risk in previous roles.
Have successfully developed and maintained stakeholder influence over inter-personal and negotiation commercial cases
Have strong leadership record with proven capability of working in a matrix environment and of being a change agent with positive business organizational and commercial outcomes.
Fluent English (written and verbal communication) and Portuguese
