At ABN AMRO DFC (Detecting Financial Crime), we are accelerating the next wave of AI-driven use cases. Building on our GenAI Acceleration plan, our ambition is to move beyond traditional automation towards intelligent, GenAI and Agentic based systems that transform how work gets done and how decisions are made.
We focus on delivering tangible business value: reducing manual effort, improving quality and consistency, and enabling faster, better-informed decisions. By scaling GenAI use cases, advancing Transaction Monitoring data science, and building a future-ready agentic AI architecture, we are shaping a more proactive and data-driven way of working.
To realize this ambition, we are expanding our multidisciplinary teams with business developers and data scientists who are eager to build, scale, and innovate at pace. Together, we work on high-impact use cases and lay the foundation for a scalable AI ecosystem within DFC.
The job
Contributing to scaling 3–5 high-impact GenAI use cases into production, with clear business cases and measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
Contributing to realizing tangible business value by defining, tracking, and delivering measurable cost savings, productivity gains, and quality improvements.
Contributing to reducing manual effort in core DFC processes by driving adoption of AI-enabled workflows and improving First-Time-Right outcomes.
Contributing to building and maintaining a strong GenAI use case pipeline, accelerating ideas from concept to PoC to production.
Contributing to strong stakeholder alignment and adoption, ensuring GenAI solutions are actively used and deliver impact in execution teams.
Contributing to developing the Agentic AI ecosystem by shaping use cases, building partnerships, and enabling scalable, future-ready AI capabilities.

Your skills
Kennis
Knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, and data-driven workflows in a financial crime / Transaction Monitoring context
Knowledge of business case development, value tracking (cost, hours saved, quality), and ROI modeling
Knowledge of AI/analytics delivery processes (idea to PoC to production) and governance in regulated environments
Skills
Skill in translating business needs into scalable AI use cases and clear value propositions
Skill in stakeholder management and driving adoption across business and technology teams
Skill in structuring and prioritizing a portfolio of use cases, balancing value, feasibility, and risk
Competences
Competence in end-to-end ownership of value realization, from opportunity identification to adoption and impact tracking
Competence in navigating ambiguity and driving progress in a fast-paced, experimental (fail-fast) environment
Competence in collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, aligning business, data, and engineering perspectives
Desired educational level
Master’s degree (or equivalent level) in Business, Economics, Data/AI, Technology, or a related field

A competitive salary of €7.000-€11.000 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (starting salary depends on your knowledge and work experience);
