Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and building data models for large-scale systems. This role focuses on data architecture, data structure design, and modeling aligned with financial and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Develop data models for financial systems, journals, and accounting datasets

Define data standards, structures, and relationships

Work closely with analysts and engineers to implement models

Optimize models for performance and scalability

Support data mapping and transformation between systems

Technical Skills

Programming: Python (Expert knowledge)

Data & Query: Strong SQL

Data Formats: XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, Protobuf

Data Modeling: Strong hands-on experience in data model design (mandatory)

AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and model optimization

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of Financial Instruments (Derivatives preferred)

Experience in Accounting / Journals data modeling (important)

Soft Skills

Strong data architecture thinking

Problem-solving and structured analysis approach

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

High adaptability and learning agility

Mandatory Skills: Toad Data Modeler .

Experience: 8-10 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
