We are looking for a Technical Writer for Chennai Location.

You’ll make a difference by:

Creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including:

User Guides

Release Notes

Data Sheets

Online Help content

Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as developers, testers, product managers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness

Working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and using DITA-based structured authoring tools to develop scalable and reusable documentation

Managing documentation repositories using Git and following version control best practices

Designing visual aids and workflows using tools like Figma and Snagit to improve content clarity

Writing and formatting content using Markdown for web-based documentation platforms

Participating in Agile SAFe practices (PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, System Demos, etc.) to stay aligned with development cycles

Continuously improving documentation processes and contributing to style guides and templates

Working independently while managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously

Leveraging Gen AI tools to enhance documentation, including building support solutions such as chatbots

You’ll win us over by:

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Having 3+ years of experience in technical writing within a software development environment

Demonstrating proficiency in:

Markdown

Git

Figma

Snagit

XMetal

VS Code

CMS tools such as ST4 (Quanos)

Gen AI tools

Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, with good understanding of Microsoft Style Guide (MSTP)

Having familiarity with:

Documentation lifecycle (DDLC)

Software development lifecycle (SDLC)

CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows

Certification in Technical Documentation will be considered an added advantage
