The Forensic Advisory team
The Forensic Advisory team at Grant Thornton is a fast‑growing and dynamic practice. We are seeking an Experienced Manager / Senior Manager to lead engagements, deliver high‑quality outcomes, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Responsibilities
Forensic Advisory Experienced Manager / Senior Manager responsibilities include:
Lead engagements in fraud investigations, litigation support, and corporate compliance (including anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption framework reviews)
Take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery of engagements, including planning, execution, and completion
Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery
Ensure high‑quality execution of work and maintain robust documentation standards
Review workpapers and deliverables for consistency with firm quality standards
Prepare client deliverables, including presentation of findings and recommendations
Act as a key point of contact for clients and manage day‑to‑day communications
Liaise with legal counsel, regulators, and external experts as required
Coordinate with internal teams and subject matter experts across service lines
Train, coach, and contribute to the knowledge‑sharing culture of the team
Ensure compliance with mandatory regulatory, learning, and professional requirements
Senior Manager responsibilities also include:
Overseeing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring strategic alignment across engagements
Driving client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to boards, regulators, and multinational stakeholders
Contributing to business development through proposals, presentations, and opportunity identification
Providing thought leadership by developing methodologies and enhancing practice standards
Mentoring managers and junior associates, fostering collaboration and innovation
Qualifications and requirements
At least 6 years of relevant experience in forensic work within a professional services environment for the Manager role, with proven experience of 2 years in a managerial capacity
At least 8 years of relevant experience in forensic work within a professional services environment for the Senior Manager role, with proven experience of 2 years in a managerial capacity
Degree in Accounting or equivalent; professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA are highly desirable. Additional certifications such as CFE, FFP or other relevant forensic qualifications will be an advantage
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop practical solutions
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to prepare clear and detailed reports and documentation to support forensic investigation findings
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with good interpersonal ability
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong client service mindset with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment
