Job Overview:
The Sr. Analyst, People Systems (Workday) is an experienced HR technology professional with deep expertise in Workday Extend development and integrations architecture. This role is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions that extend Workday capabilities and enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems. The Sr. Analyst serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into innovative Extend applications and robust integration frameworks. This role requires strong technical depth, solution architecture skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functional and technical domains. The individual will also mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement within the People Systems function.

Act as a technical leader within the People Systems team.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement.
Workday Extend Development & Innovation
Design, develop, and deploy Workday Extend applications to address business needs beyond delivered functionality.
Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly Extend solutions leveraging APIs, orchestration, and UI frameworks.
Maintain and enhance existing Extend applications, ensuring performance, usability, and alignment with evolving business needs.
Establish development standards, reusable components, and governance for Extend solutions.
Follow internal governance and controls to ensure compliant development and deployment of Extend solutions
Integrations Architecture & Delivery
Lead the design and implementation of Workday integrations (Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, and APIs).
Architect end-to-end integration solutions across HR, Finance, and third-party systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Evaluate and recommend integration patterns, middleware usage, and automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and manage dependencies across systems.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
Lead end-to-end solution design across Extend, integrations, configuration, and reporting.
Ensure solutions are cohesive, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Drive delivery across the full lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
Define and execute testing strategies for Extend applications and integrations.
Ensure adherence to security, audit, and data governance standards.
Maintain thorough technical documentation, including solution design and data flow diagrams.
Reporting & Data Enablement
Build advanced reports and data models.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure data consistency across systems.
Solution fluidly across core Workday, Extend, and Prism to design optimal data solutions

Requirements:
3-5 years of HR systems experience with strong expertise in Workday Extend and integrations.
Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, Workday Prism, Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
Proven ability to design and deliver scalable integration architectures.
Strong understanding of Workday security, reporting, and calculated fields.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences.
Demonstrated experience leading technical projects with minimal supervision.
Preferences:
Workday Certification
Experience within the financial or wealth management industry

Able to make quick decisions and resolve complex technical problems
Ability to manage through shift changes and effectively transition open and unresolved issues.
Ability to adapt, learn new technologies, develop new processes, and improve procedures.
Excellent documentation skills.
Ability to write, read, interpret, and edit complex documents and correspondence with team members and stakeholders.
