The Team
A&M’s Digital practice brings together experts from engineering, data science, and management consulting to help clients harness the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We work across industries to design, build, and deploy AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes from intelligent automation and predictive analytics to large-scale model deployment and AI strategy.
Our team combines deep technical expertise with hands-on delivery rigour, partnering with clients to turn AI ambition into operational reality.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Director within our Digital practice, you will lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for A&M’s clients across industries. This is a senior leadership role for a technically exceptional individual who can bridge rigorous engineering with client-facing impact.
You will work with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders to shape AI strategy, oversee end-to-end model development and deployment, and grow A&M’s AI capability and market presence.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions, ensuring technical rigour and measurable client impact.
Advise senior client stakeholders on AI strategy, model governance, data architecture, and technology selection.
Apply advanced problem-solving capabilities to define complex, ambiguous challenges and translate them into scalable, deployable AI solutions.
Direct multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and consultants across complex, high-stakes engagements.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities; contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and A&M’s profile in the AI market.
Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on the responsible and effective adoption of AI.
Mentor and develop junior practitioners, fostering a high-performance, technically excellent team culture.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a hard science or engineering discipline — such as computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a closely related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical field, with a track record of delivering results in complex, data-intensive environments.
Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI and machine learning solutions in production environments, including model development, MLOps, and integration with enterprise systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to decompose highly complex, unstructured problems and drive pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders at senior levels.
Prior consulting or advisory experience is advantageous; a demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships is highly regarded.
