Global Markets overview
Nomura's Global Markets business facilitates client transactions for a diverse group of institutions including corporations, governments and investment funds around the globe. Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. We act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, including currencies, interest rates and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products. We have taken market-leading positions across the globe by leveraging the strength of our talent, client relationships and technology.
The Structured Solutions Sales team is looking for an intern to join the team in Paris on a 6-month contract, or to join for one year as an apprentice. The start date will be July or August 2026.
Role description:
Candidate will join a well-established Structures Solutions Sales team, and will work closely with other stakeholders including structuring, trading, Middle and Back-office teams
Responsibility includes supporting the sales team in their day-to-day tasks, including KYC and KYD oversight, product pricing and database management.
Role will give candidate opportunity to immerse in the structured solutions environment and to obtain relevant skill-set to operate as a structured solutions sales.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Strong interest in structured products, who can operate in a dynamic environment
Understanding of financial derivatives
Strong work ethics with high level of attention to details
Self-starter and ability to manage/prioritises multiple tasks with good commercial awareness
Ability to communicate/present clearly and succinctly technical concepts
Ability to use Excel/Python will be valuable
