2-year contract (508 business days) - possible extension

Must Have:

Conducts business needs analysis on current corporate/ministry programs/initiatives to update existing procedures and recommends/implements changes to existing programs/initiatives through the use of digital products and digital roadmaps.

Contributes to the initial planning and analysis, and identifies critical issues, project priorities and resource requirements, and defines deliverables and scope.

Leads agile teams in the the business analysis and delivery of new/updated digital system to meet future program/initiative needs.

Conducts environmental scans to maintain an awareness of corporate priorities, strategies and current knowledge of best practices and trends in the public and private sectors to develop plans and apply appropriate private sector approaches and expertise.

Researches, compiles and analyses various data for analytical and descriptive reports and presentations for senior management, detailing each program/initiative, its successes, problem-areas, performance and related statistics.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:

Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements

Defining the product vision

Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience:

Identify and fill product gaps

Generate new ideas that grow market share

Improve customer experience

Drive growth

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

Develop product pricing and positioning strategies

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

General Skills:

Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification

Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities

Experience running beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples becoming an expert with respect to the competition

A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience

Researches, compiles and analyses various data for analytical and descriptive reports and presentations for senior management, detailing each program/initiative, its successes, problem-areas, performance and related statistics.

Provides advice to senior management on the interpretation and implementation of government processes, requirements and ministry direction.

T4 RATE RANGE (7.25 billable hours per day)

$71.76/hr - $86.11/hr T4
