Principal Finance Transformation & Systems (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

This role is responsible for the development, standardization, and governance of finance processes and the finance systems landscape at group level. The objective is to ensure a scalable, consistent, and audit-compliant finance framework across all entities. Responsibility for operational finance activities remains within the respective functions (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A).

Your Role in Our Space Mission

Financial Processes & Operating Model

Further development and standardization of group-wide finance processes

Definition of end-to-end process structures (e.g. P2P, O2C, R2R)

Ensuring consistent process standards across all entitie

Finance Systems

Responsibility for the development of the finance systems landscape (ERP and subsystems)

Support and coordination of system implementations, enhancements, and integrations

Ensuring consistent data structures and system logic .

Governance & Controls

Definition of process standards and control requirements in alignment with all finance functions

Support in ensuring audit and compliance requirements

Documentation of processes and system logic

Integration & Scalability

Support in integrating new entities into existing finance structures

Ensuring system and process readiness in a growing, international environment

Qualification Checklist

Several years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or process management

Experience with ERP systems and finance processes

Experience in international environments

Solid understanding of accounting, tax, treasury, and FP&A processes

Experience in cross-functional collaboration

Fluent in German and English.

Willingness to work regularly on-site in Ottobrunn
