About the role

Strategic Account Manager

Servertech Solutions is one of the largest sellers of enterprise hard drives and storage equipment in

the secondary market. Over the years, we've built our position through deep enterprise storage

inventory, strong testing processes, volume buying power, and the ability to support procurement

needs across compute. As we continue to grow, we're seeing more opportunities that go beyond

simply selling products online. Customers are reaching out about large purchases, procurement

needs, data center projects, equipment buybacks, brokerage opportunities, and long-term

partnerships. We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager to help us manage and grow those

relationships.

What You'll Do

You'll serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers and opportunities. Your job is not

to be the technical expert, pricing expert, or deal structuring expert. Instead, you'll own the

relationship, uncover opportunities, and coordinate the right resources inside the company to move

opportunities forward. Build relationships with customers, data centers, MSPs, home lab

enthusiasts, resellers, and technology organizations

Follow up consistently and professionally on opportunities

Manage communication throughout the life of a project or account

Identify opportunities for procurement, buybacks, brokerage, and product sales

Coordinate with purchasing, operations, logistics, and leadership teams

Keep opportunities organized and moving forward

Develop trust with customers and become their primary point of contact

Escalate technical, pricing, or deal-structure questions to the appropriate internal experts

Help transform one-time customers into long-term relationships

The Calls You'll Be Making

This is a relationship-driven role, but it is also a high-activity role. You will spend a significant

amount of time on the phone speaking with customers and prospects. Many of these conversations

will begin with a structured outreach process designed to help you understand: What type of

customer you're speaking with

How their previous order experience went

What projects they're currently working on

What hardware they may need in the future

How they handle equipment reaching end-of-life

Whether they have procurement, disposition, buyback, or brokerage needs The goal isn't simply to

sell products. The goal is to understand the customer, their environment, and their challenges so

we can identify ways to help.

Understanding Our Customers

Our customers are not all the same. You may speak with enterprise data centers, MSPs, IT

departments, system integrators, resellers, home lab enthusiasts, and technology hobbyists. Each

group has different goals, priorities, buying patterns, and challenges. Market conditions affect each

customer segment differently, and part of your job will be learning how to recognize those

differences and adapt your conversations accordingly.

What You're Like

You're a natural at building relationships with genuine curiosity. You enjoy learning about people,

businesses, projects, and how organizations make decisions. You work well with a team of experts

and understand that earning business is often a collaborative effort. You are comfortable bringing in

specialists, asking questions, and helping move opportunities forward without needing to be the

smartest person in every room. You're a quick thinker, but you also respect process and stay

organized. You know when a situation requires urgency and decisive action, and when success

comes from staying top of mind, following up consistently, and being patient. Learning business

terminology, understanding industry dynamics, and adopting the language of your customers

comes naturally to you. You enjoy becoming fluent in new industries and are comfortable speaking

with everyone from a home lab enthusiast to a data center executive. Most importantly, you take

pride in representing a company professionally. Our customers are often long-term relationships,

and we are looking for someone who can communicate with polish, confidence, and integrity.

What You Won't Be Doing

Configuring servers

Performing technical support

Independently negotiating complex buyback structures

Determining pricing or underwriting deals

Managing inventory purchases We already have specialists who handle those areas. Your job is

to identify opportunities, maintain strong communication, and ensure customers receive a

professional and consistent experience while the appropriate experts support the transaction.

What We're Looking For

Strong communication skills

Excellent follow-up habits

Ability to manage multiple conversations and projects simultaneously

Strong organizational skills

Professional presence on phone and video calls

Ability to ask thoughtful questions and uncover opportunities

High integrity and attention to detail

Comfortable working with technical teams without needing to be the technical expert

Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships

A polished and professional approach to customer interactions

Why This Role Matters

Many of the opportunities we're pursuing begin with a conversation. The right person will help us strengthen relationships, uncover opportunities, and represent the company in a way that reflects the professionalism and reputation we've spent years building. If you enjoy talking with customers, understanding how businesses operate, building long-term relationships, and helping opportunities

turn into partnerships, we'd love to hear from you.
