About the role

Overview

Intuit's Consumer Group powers TurboTax and TurboTax Live — serving tens of millions of customers each tax season. At the heart of our operational excellence is the ability to accurately predict customer demand and translate it into expert supply — getting the right experts, in the right channels, at the right time.

We are looking for a Manager 2, Data Science to lead the Demand Planning Data Science team within the Consumer Group's Expert Network (ICS). This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of advanced forecasting, operational strategy, and cross-functional leadership. You will own the models, methodologies, and insights that drive how Intuit plans for and responds to customer demand across Full Service and Assisted Tax products.

Partner with WFM, Finance, and Product to embed DS outputs into planning workflows and decision-making cycles

Demand Forecasting & Modeling

Own end-to-end demand forecasting models for the Consumer Group, spanning pre-season, in-season, and off-season horizons

Drive advancement of forecasting methodology — from traditional time-series approaches to ML-based demand signals incorporating product funnel, marketing, and macroeconomic signals

Ensure model accuracy, confidence intervals, and scenario planning outputs meet the needs of SLT and operational teams

Serve as the primary DS partner to Workforce Management and Capacity Planning leadership, translating forecast outputs into staffing and partner capacity recommendations
