Your new role

As Accounting Coordinator, you will oversee the Record to Report process for LATAM, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting that supports decision-making across the region. You will guide a team of accounting professionals while partnering with stakeholders across LATAM countries, GBS India and Corporate Accounting to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the end-to-end Record to Report accounting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reviewing local journal entries in line with accounting standards

Coordinating and executing month-end close, consolidation and external reporting activities, including preparation and review of financial statements for the Annual Report

Ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley and the Minimum Controls framework, identifying and addressing control deficiencies to mitigate financial risk

Acting as a point of contact for LATAM FinOps CoE teams, LATAM countries and external auditors, ensuring smooth communication, documentation and resolution of audit queries

Supervising, training and supporting accounting team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Partnering with Finance Development to implement advanced automation tools and drive process improvements that optimise efficiency and reduce cycle time

Your new department

As part of the LATAM Finance team, you'll work within a dynamic environment covering 10 countries across the region. This role sits at the intersection of governance, audit, and business partnership – ensuring we maintain the highest standards of accounting while enabling the business to operate effectively and ethically across Latin America.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a collaborative mindset and the ability to lead and develop others. To succeed in this role, you bring:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;

Experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally including Record to Report processes and consolidation activities;

Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley) and familiarity with external audit processes;

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and ensure compliance with reporting standards;

Proven ability to manage and guide a team, combined with excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to internal and external stakeholders;

Fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese is an advantage given the LATAM scope.
