A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.
As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. Job Summary
The Commercial Executive (CE) is a key member of the commercial team who supports the company in fulfilling its contractual obligations. Their primary responsibilities include preparing invoice estimates for engine repair shop visit charges and costs for customers, as well as producing monthly sales and profit forecasts for internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Use SAP and Microsoft Excel to generate engine repair cost estimates within contractual timelines by analysing engine shop visit work scope and historical data.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to prepare monthly sales and profit forecasts for internal departments (e.g. Finance and Accounts).
Engage relevant stakeholders to track, investigate, and resolve invoice disputes.
Set up new customer contracts and amend existing contracts in SAP.
Support the commercial team in addressing other commercial-related matters as required.
Demonstrate a self-motivated and proactive approach in identifying and implementing process improvements (e.g. automation of manual processes).
Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by the Commercial Manager.
Qualification / Experience
Comfortable handling high volumes of data, utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel, and preparing accurate reports.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Highly meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsible, proactive, and results-driven in achieving objectives.
Experience with Excel automation and process improvement is an added advantage.
Possess a minimum Diploma qualification.
