Production Operative - Paint Line Department - 11.30am-8pm

We are hiring Production Operatives Architectural & Metal Systems Ltd. is Ireland’s only independently owned manufacturer of extruded aluminium profiles. We specialize in aluminium extrusion, powder coated aluminium and sheet metal fabrication as wells as providing many other services from our vast 400,000 sq. ft. facility. AMS also supply a wide range of thermally efficient aluminium windows, door, and other commercial systems to various industries globally. The company’s business divisions include standard engineering products, architectural glazing systems, curtain walling architectural paint finishes, anodising and a bespoke aluminium design & extrusions service.

Schedule Availability

8 hour shifts

Monday - Thursday: 11.30am-8pm & Friday 11.30am - 7pm

Overtime available on addition days (Subject to availability)

Ability to commute:

· Travel to and from Little Island

Previous experience within the Industrial sector desirable

Mechanical aptitude

Hard working with a can-do attitude

Good eye for quality

Production Line experience desirable

Must be eligible to work in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

Working to targets individually or with a team

Machine & hand tool operation

Working in an industrial environment

Liaising with the Manager and other team members as well as other department members

Preparing required materials for packaging of painted profiles

Packing painted profiles

Labelling stillages

Forklift driving

General Quality checks

Light paperwork

General housekeeping and area upkeep.
