We’ve recently launched WalletConnect Pay, a payments solution that lets merchants and payment providers leverage blockchain rails for new payment experiences, including stablecoin checkout, payouts, and deposits.

The Role
This is not a typical Sales Development Representative role. We’re looking for our first dedicated AI-Native SDR to help build the next generation of WalletConnect’s go-to-market engine. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, your primary responsibility is generating pipeline and creating qualified opportunities for the commercial team, but because we’re still building, you’ll also have a rare opportunity to shape how that happens.
You’ll work directly with senior commercial, product, and marketing leaders to identify growth opportunities, experiment with AI-powered prospecting, build scalable outreach workflows, and help us better understand and monetise our existing user base. You’ll have access to one of the largest wallet and application networks in digital assets, thousands of existing users, and a rapidly growing payments and stablecoin opportunity.
We don’t expect you to follow a playbook. We expect you to help build it. For the right person, this role is a platform to grow into areas like Growth, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, or Sales Strategy, while staying close enough to the action to see the direct impact of your work.
Day to Day
Generate Pipeline
Your primary responsibility is creating qualified opportunities for the commercial team.
Identify and engage target accounts across priority segments
Build prospecting campaigns and outbound sequences
Research prospects and personalise outreach at scale
Generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
Support account-based marketing initiatives
Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams on strategic target accounts
Lead Our AI Prospecting Efforts
We believe AI will fundamentally change how go-to-market teams operate, and we want someone at the forefront of that shift.
Become WalletConnect’s expert in Clay and modern AI-powered GTM tooling
Build prospecting, enrichment, and account prioritisation workflows
Use AI to automate research and improve outreach quality
Identify manual processes and replace them with scalable systems
Continuously test new tools, workflows, and growth techniques
Share successful approaches across the wider commercial team
Activate Our Existing User Base
WalletConnect has thousands of applications and users interacting with our products today, many not yet fully understood from a commercial perspective. This is one of the highest-impact growth opportunities in the business.
Segment and categorise existing users by commercial potential
Identify high-potential accounts within our current network
Create targeted activation campaigns
Surface expansion and upsell opportunities
Turn product usage data into commercial conversations
Partner With Marketing
You’ll work closely with our Demand Generation Manager to build and scale our growth engine.
Execute campaigns and follow up on events
Identify and refine target account lists
Run messaging and positioning experiments
Test new channels and optimise lead generation
Own Long-Tail Commercial Opportunities
Not every opportunity requires an enterprise sales process. You’ll own and manage smaller opportunities that enter the business directly, ensuring no lead is left behind while allowing senior commercial team members to focus on strategic accounts.
Qualify and manage inbound opportunities
Handle smaller merchant conversations end-to-end
Close straightforward commercial opportunities
Build repeatable processes for handling long-tail demand
Requirements
Experience in an SDR, BDR, Growth, or Demand Generation role
Strong prospecting and outbound skills
Experience using modern GTM tooling
High curiosity and proven experimentation with AI tooling
Strong written communication skills
Analytical mindset and comfort working with data
Ability to work independently and operate in ambiguity
Desire to build — not just execute
Nice to Haves
Experience with Clay
Experience using AI tools in a commercial environment
Background in fintech, payments, SaaS, or digital assets
Familiarity with CRM and revenue operations tools
Experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)
Startup or high-growth company experience
