Job Description

You join the Chief Operating Office CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) and more specifically the Middle Office Global Securities Settlement within Global Market Operations (GMO). You are involved in the International Settlement/Delivery business, responsible for settling/delivering all transactions involving any type of securities (Equity and Fixed-Income).

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

Manage the team by developing managers' skills;

Supervise operational activity, knowing how to delegate, control, intervene wisely and escalate if necessary;

In collaboration with your team, participate in the work of the quarterly by-laws through proper management of outstanding operations (internal and external);

Improve activity monitoring reporting;

Support the transformation and front-office professions in their new activities, in connection with the IT teams, or even other cross-functional teams;

Participate in the evolution of the information system handling your business operations, with a view to strengthening automation and optimizing human resources;

Contribute to projects that optimize tasks and processes;

Participate in and follow, if necessary, certain work carried out by associations from the Place de Paris, such as AFTI, ACI or AMAFI, for example.

As Manager of the Securities Settlement Internatonal activity, you ensure the proper implementation of company procedures and escalate to your superiors any difficulties encountered in the course of your activity.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If this is your description, you are made to work with us!

You hold a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in market finance and have at least 7 years of solid experience in CIB banking operations in support of the Front Office.

You master:

Support activity for the Settlement of securities transactions (ideally Equity and Fixed-Income);

Management of activity in the field of post-market treatments;

Proximity team management;

Ideally, the Summit and Calypso apps.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

Customer satisfaction oriented;

Recognized for your analytical skills;

Rigorous and persevering, you are oriented towards continuous improvement.

You master English with a minimum C1 level.
