You Are:

We are seeking a DevOps Consultant with strong expertise in DevOps strategy, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and large‑scale migration programs.

The opportunity:

Define and implement DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies aligned with enterprise cloud and migration roadmaps.

Design and govern IaC frameworks to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in a consistent, auditable, and repeatable manner.

Support data and application migration programs, contributing to overall migration strategy, sequencing, and dependency planning.

Develop and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including environment readiness, automation, and recovery testing alignment.

Plan and support cutover strategies, ensuring minimal disruption during migration or platform transitions.

Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to integrate DevOps practices into cloud‑native and modernized application platforms.

12+ years of experience

Primary Skills & Expertise

DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Design and implementation of automated infrastructure and platform provisioning

Data & Migration Strategy

Experience supporting enterprise‑scale application and data migrations

Disaster Recovery (DR) Strategy

DR design considerations, automation readiness, and recovery planning

Cutover Strategy

Planning and execution support for migration cutovers and go‑live activities

Strong understanding of cloud‑native architectures and DevOps operating models

Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience as a DevOps Consultant or Senior DevOps Engineer in large enterprise or consulting environments

Strong exposure to cloud migration and modernization initiatives

Experience working across multi‑disciplinary teams (architecture, infrastructure, data, security, and delivery)

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Experience working in client‑facing roles, supporting strategy definition and execution

Nice to Have

Prior experience supporting regulated or large enterprise environments

Exposure to platform transformation, cloud adoption frameworks, or DevOps governance models

Experience working in UK or Europe‑based delivery engagements

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote-Canada

Compensation Range: $127,000-$159,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
