About the role

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for handling end-to-end accounting operations with a focus on export transactions, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and banking coordination. The role requires strong knowledge of export procedures, forex handling, taxation, and team support.

Key Responsibilities

✅ 1. General Accounting & Finalization

Maintain books of accounts (AP, AR, General Ledger)

Review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations

Prepare trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet

Ensure periodical closing of accounts (monthly/quarterly/yearly)

✅ 2. Export Accounting & Documentation

Verify export invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents

Accounting of export sales and foreign currency transactions

Ensure proper maintenance of export documentation (Invoice, BL, Shipping Bill, LUT)

Coordinate with export/logistics team for compliance

Monitor and track export realization and outstanding

✅ 3. Banking & Forex Management

Handle Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Realization Certificates (BRC/FIRC)

Coordinate with banks for submission of export documents

Monitor foreign exchange rates and record forex gain/loss

Ensure timely realization of export proceeds as per RBI guidelines

✅ 4. Taxation & Compliance

Ensure compliance with GST provisions (Export under LUT / IGST)

Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns

Knowledge of export incentives (Duty Drawback, RoDTEP)

Ensure compliance with FEMA and statutory laws

Maintain all statutory records and registers

✅ 5. Audit & Reporting

Handle internal and statutory audits

Provide required documents and clarifications to auditors

Prepare financial MIS reports for management

Analyze financial data and highlight discrepancies

✅ 6. Team Coordination & Supervision

Guide junior accounts staff

Review accounting entries and documentation

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Logistics, HR)

✅ 7. Process Improvement & Control

Implement financial controls and accounting systems

Improve processes for efficiency and compliance

Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finalization

Expertise in export accounting and documentation

Working knowledge of GST, TDS, FEMA, and RBI guidelines

Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and coordination ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
