The Team

Due to tremendous demand within the region, we are looking to hire Manager level candidates (depending on experience) in our Tax Practice in Singapore. Our Tax Practice covers all aspects of tax advisory services in Asia, including M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, transfer pricing advisory and compliance services, general tax advisory services etc. This position will lead and/or execute a diverse range of complex assignments as well as provide advice on cross-border transactions. The candidate will also work closely with our Transaction Advisory Group and Private Equity Performance Improvement Group to provide integrated due diligence to the world’s largest and most high profile corporate, private equity and financial investors.

How you will contribute

Providing advice on the GST treatment of transactions

Reviewing and providing advice on clients’ GST compliance processes

Assisting clients in preparing or reviewing their GST returns prior to submitting them to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).

Assisting clients in making GST ruling applications to the IRAS

Assisting clients in responding to IRAS’ queries

Performing GST reviews for clients under the IRAS’ Assisted Compliance Assurance Program

Conducting GST health checks for clients including those using the IRAS’ Assisted Self-help Kit

Conducting GST training for clients

Coordinating with regional team to assist clients on cross border indirect tax issues

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economic, commerce, law or related are preferred.

8+ years of tax consulting experience is expected.

Possess strong leadership, execution, and coaching skills.

Ability to exceed client expectations and deliver high quality client service.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment.

Good writing, analytical, research and organizational skills.
