Job Summary

Prosegur Singapore is seeking a reliable and vigilant Adhoc Security Officer to provide security coverage for a boutique establishment. This role requires a flexible individual who can adapt to varying security needs and requirements. As an Adhoc Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, its occupants, and valuable assets during your assigned shifts. This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplementary work or those who thrive in diverse security environments.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control: Monitor and control access to the boutique, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.

Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the boutique to detect and deter any suspicious activities or security breaches.

Monitoring Security Systems: Operate and monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential threats.

Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, following established protocols.

Customer Service: Greet visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as needed.

Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations in incident reports.

Loss Prevention: Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security-related losses.

Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with and execute emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols, when necessary.

Adherence to Instructions: Strictly follow all directives and instructions provided by supervisors and management regarding security operations.

Flexibility: Be prepared to work on an adhoc basis, responding to security needs as they arise, which may include short notice assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of proven experience in a security-related role is mandatory. Experience in retail or boutique security is highly advantageous.

Licensing: Must possess a valid Singapore Private Security License (PSL) issued by the Singapore Police Force.

Physical Fitness: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform duties in a physically demanding environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the public.

Observational Skills: Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills to identify potential risks and threats.

Integrity and Professionalism: A high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and a professional demeanor at all times.

Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adaptability: Willingness and ability to adapt to different shift patterns and security requirements based on the needs of the boutique.

Punctuality: Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.
