Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lifecycle Contract & Procurement Stewardship

Administer the full lifecycle of complex commercial contracts, spanning early-stage tendering, pre-award strategy, project execution, and long-term operational close-out.

Develop, maintain, and execute high-impact global procurement and sourcing strategies that balance cost efficiency with operational resilience.

Risk Mitigation & Review: Meticulously review client contracts, multi-million-dollar subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure complete alignment with project specifications, corporate policies, and international compliance standards.

Commercial Negotiation: Lead the drafting, evaluation, and high-level negotiation of key vendor and client agreements, locking in favorable standard terms and conditions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration

Partner dynamically with Business Development, Project Directors, and Operations Managers to develop contract deliverable checklists, expediting timely supply-chain execution.

Serve as the chief organizational translator for signed agreements—ensuring clarity, alignment, and actionable interpretation of complex clauses across all internal project stakeholders.

Act as the trusted, central point of contact for clients and tier-one vendors regarding all contractual, financial, and risk-management matters.

Oversee the meticulous management of contractual records, insurance requirements, change orders, and correspondence to maintain audit-ready transparency.

Growth, Ecosystem Building & Ecosystem Expansion

Global Networking: Represent the company at marquee industry events, trade shows, and conferences to extend our global network of maritime innovators and energy stakeholders.

Cultivate strong, high-integrity relationships with government agencies, joint-venture partners, and local compliance boards.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline; a specialized degree in Marine or Naval Engineering is highly advantageous.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial contracts, supply chain management, or high-value project management within the construction sector—with a strict preference for the Oil & Gas (O&G), FPSO, or Maritime sectors.

Proven track record of successfully managing major commercial contract lifecycles and complex subcontract structures for large-scale maritime assets with

Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally to interface with global suppliers, operational hubs, and shipyard sites.
