About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of construction projects across Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating project teams, optimising resources, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project delivery standards.

This is a leadership role suited for a highly motivated individual with strong operational, project management, and stakeholder management experience within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.

Plan, coordinate, and manage project resources, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.

Lead and supervise project teams to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.

Monitor project schedules, productivity, and performance to achieve project objectives.

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on project-related matters.

Negotiate and manage contracts, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance.

Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to minimise delays and disruptions.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Monitor project costs and resource utilisation to optimise operational efficiency and profitability.

Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Drive quality assurance initiatives and ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Support senior management in achieving organisational and project goals.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within the construction industry, including project and operational management responsibilities.

Proven leadership experience managing project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.

Strong knowledge of construction operations, project delivery processes, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Excellent planning, organisational, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence will be an advantage.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
