Contract Hours: 39 weekly

Salary Scale Range: 31,815 - 48,203

Annual Leave: 26 days

Purpose of the Role

ChildVision is seeking a motivated and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to development and transformation within the People & Culture function. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, workforce planning, HR systems development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working as part of the People & Culture team, the Coordinator will support day-to-day HR operations while also contributing to the implementation and optimisation of our HR System (Strandum). This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, development, and involvement in strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment, Workforce Planning and Onboarding

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, using the recruitment system (Rezoomo), ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process, including advertising roles, shortlisting, interview coordination, reference checking, and onboarding.

Partner with managers to review vacancies and workforce requirements, ensuring roles are aligned with organisational needs and strategic objectives.

Participate in interview panels and provide guidance on recruitment best practices and compliance requirements.

Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics.

Coordinate onboarding activities to support a positive and engaging employee experience.

Monitor probationary periods and support managers in completing probation reviews effectively.

HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle Management

Manage employee lifecycle administration, including contracts, employee records, leave management, transfers, and employment changes.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information to support payroll processing.

Act as a first point of contact for employee and management queries, providing accurate advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employment matters.

Escalate complex employee relations or policy matters appropriately.

Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.

Assist in the coordination and delivery of employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational development initiatives.

HR Systems, Data and Reporting

Maintain the HR System (Strandum) ensuring data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with GDPR requirements.

Support the implementation of new HRIS modules, workflows, and system enhancements.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise the value of HR technology.

Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and people metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Produce regular workforce reports, including recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, training, and other key people indicators.

Support workforce planning initiatives through the analysis of HR data and trends.

Learning and Development

Coordinate learning and development activities, including training administration, scheduling, attendance tracking, and evaluation.

Support the rollout of organisational training programmes and contribute to the development of learning resources where appropriate.

Maintain training records and support compliance-related training requirements.

Teamwork and Continuous Improvement

Work collaboratively as part of the People & Culture team to deliver a high-quality HR service across the organisation.

Build effective working relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

Participate in departmental and organisational improvement initiatives.

Support project work associated with organisational change, people initiatives, and system development.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Diploma (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline.

Minimum of two years' experience working within a Human Resources or related function.

Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.

Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HR systems.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Understanding of GDPR requirements and handling confidential employee information.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.

Membership of, or working towards membership of, CIPD.

Experience using HR Information Systems.

Experience working within the disability, education, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors.

Experience producing HR reports and workforce analytics.

Experience supporting organisational change or HR transformation projects.
