Stage - Data Office - Business Data Analyst (F/H)
About the role

Context :
You will join the Data Office, a central and transversal team working closely with Finance and business teams (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain…) to ensure that data is reliable, well-governed, and effectively used for decision-making. Within this environment, you will play a key role in ensuring data quality, while supporting business understanding, governance, and adoption of data & analytics tools (Power BI).
This internship is ideal for someone with a strong business mindset, interested in how data supports financial and operational performance in a global organization.
Your Responsibilities :
1. Data Quality, Validation & Testing
Perform data validation and consistency checks on reports and dashboards
Execute testing activities (test cases, results, issue tracking) to ensure alignment with quality standards
Identify discrepancies and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement of data reliability and processes
2. Dashboard Monitoring & User Support
Monitor live dashboards to ensure data accuracy and system reliability
Provide functional support to users (navigation, KPI understanding, usage)
Track issues and contribute to improving user experience and trust in data
3. BusinessAnalysis& Coordination
Support business teams in understanding available data, KPIs, and dashboards
Help gather and document business needs, use cases, and data definitions
Analyze pain points in processes and propose data-driven improvements aligned with business objectives
Prepare business-oriented materials (presentations, summaries, communications)
4. DataGovernance& Organization
Support data access management (requests follow-up, documentation, coordination)
Contribute to defining and documenting data governance processes (roles, responsibilities, rules)
Help structure and maintain the Data Office SharePoint:
Documentation & guidelines
Data definitions & business references
Processes, FAQs, and governance materials
Improve clarity and visibility of data topics for business users
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption
Interact with Finance, IT teams and Business stakeholders globally
Present insights and communicate progress on data initiatives
Support initiatives aimed at increasing data adoption, usage, and satisfaction
Analyze usage trends and user feedback to drive continuous improvement

Profile
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Finance, Business, Management, Data, Information Systems, Engineering (with business interest
Strong interest in:
Business processes & financial performance
Data analysis, governance, and reporting
Skills:
Good understanding of data structures and KPIs
Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
Comfortable working with numbers and structured data
Knowledge of Power BI or data tools is a plus
Soft skills:
Strong communication skills, able to interact with non-technical stakeholders
Organized, proactive, and curious
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Fluent in English
