WHS Specialist (Product Launch) – 6 month fixed-term contract

We're launching a WH&S product into the Australian market. It's built. It works. But localising it properly for Australia is a significant body of work - and our Product team needs a dedicated WH&S expert fully focused on getting it right.

What you'll actually be doing

This role sits within our Product team, reporting to the Group Product Director (AU/NZ).

Identifying gaps between the existing product and what Australian legislation and businesses actually require

Advising the Product Manager on what needs to change, be added, or be cut before launch

Working hands-on in the platform - updating templates, removing irrelevant references, making it market-ready

Reviewing and localising content for the Australian market, state by state

Translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance the product team can work from

You’re the right person if:

You know Australian WH&S legislation deeply - not just the national framework but the state variations (NSW, Victoria, WA and beyond)

You've applied it in the real world - on site, with real businesses, not just from a desk

You're pragmatic - you know the difference between what the legislation says, what businesses actually do, and what a product needs to support

You can sit down on day one with a list of 50 questions and just get stuck in

You've used a WH&S platform before and understand how safety workflows translate into software

You're a clear communicator who can translate complex regulatory requirements for a product team that aren't WH&S specialists

You're as comfortable with the legislative detail as you are with the practical application - we need both, not one or the other
