Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Supply Chain Management team through financial planning, reporting, analysis, and performance monitoring. This position is responsible for producing and maintaining recurring financial and operational reports, supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes, conducting variance and trend analysis, and providing actionable insights to business stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and management reports for supply chain and GPO organization.

Maintain and enhance accounts receivable reporting, bad debt analysis, spend analysis, profitability tracking, and other key financial performance metrics.

Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities through timely reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain financial reporting and forecasting models, dashboards, and performance tracking tools to improve business performance visibility and strengthen forecasting accuracy.

Manage monthly reporting of Client Incentive Programs (CIP), including detailed variance analysis against forecast, budget, and actual results.

Manage and process capital grant requests in accordance with company policies.

Prepare and submit CERs where required and coordinate with the Capital Assets team for entry into FADL.

Reconciliations & Compliance

Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to National Volume Discount (NVD) reconciliations, customer incentive programs, and audit compliance.

Respond to internal and external audit inquiries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting policies

Perform quarterly variance analysis and reconcile NVD balances across multiple general ledgers (Controllership and Supply Chain), ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Support quarterly audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation, analyses, investigate reporting discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions as needed (for HealthPro).

Stakeholder Support & Business Partnership

Partner with Corporate Finance, Supply Chain, and operational teams to deliver timely and meaningful financial insights.

Collaborate with business partners to evaluate financial impacts of operational initiatives and strategic projects.

Respond to ad hoc reporting requests, business analyses, and special projects.

Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency through automation and process enhancements.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

3–5 years of post-graduate experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accounting, or a related finance function.

Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, or operational finance environments is considered an asset.

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
