About the role

Your role

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager in Waghäusel to partner with business leaders in driving impactful HR strategies that support performance and growth. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, ensuring alignment between people’s initiatives and business priorities while delivering operational excellence across HR functions. Following the acquisition of Vision Tools by Atlas Copco, this role plays a key part in driving cultural integration and supporting communication to help bringing the organizations together in a shared and collaborative way.

Your day-to-day

Strategic HR Partnership

Partner with the GM and leadership team to align HR strategies with business priorities

Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, talent, and employee relations

Drive cultural integration of VisionTools in Atlas Copco

Talent & Organization Development

Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning

Foster a high-performance, employee-centric culture focused on engagement and continuous improvement

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

Drive and optimize end-to-end recruitment to attract top talent

Manage external partners and strengthen local employer branding

Build a strong talent pipeline aligned with current and future needs

HR Operations & Employee Experience

Oversee HR operations, including payroll coordination, performance management, and compensation

Manage the employee lifecycle (onboarding, mobility, offboarding) with a focus on experience

Ensure HR data accuracy, reporting, and compliance with company standards

Employee Relations & Compliance

Manage employee relations proactively and ensure compliance with labor laws and policies

Promote open communication and support engagement initiatives

Global Collaboration & Projects

Partner with regional/global HR teams and Centers of Expertise (e.g., C&B, L&D)

Lead or support global HR initiatives and drive local execution

Your skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree or above in HR, Business, or related field

5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong HRBP/generalist background

Experience in a multinational environment preferred

Solid knowledge of German labor laws and HR best practices

Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrix organization

Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills

Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution

Fluent in English and German
