What You’ll Do
Strategic Project Procurement Leadership
Lead all procurement activities for global New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept phase through serial production.
Manage complex sourcing projects with responsibility for cost, quality, delivery performance and risk management.
Support product industrialisation and ensure procurement readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate multiple international projects simultaneously within a matrix organisation.
Supplier & Supply Chain Management
Develop and implement sourcing, supplier and commodity strategies.
Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs and commercial negotiations.
Build resilient and sustainable supply chains for critical components.
Manage supplier performance, development initiatives and risk mitigation activities.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Legal teams.
Act as a trusted advisor to project teams and senior leadership.
Provide project reporting, business updates and procurement insights to management.
Drive decision-making through data analysis, business cases and risk assessments.
Continuous Improvement
Improve procurement processes, tools and best practices.
Support governance, compliance and procurement standards.
Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience
Significant 7+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Project Procurement, Supply Chain or Sourcing leadership roles.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialisation or large-scale manufacturing projects.
Strong project management capabilities within complex international organisations.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
Experience leading supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Business-level English communication skills.
German language skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience within MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of SAP systems and procurement tools.
Experience working in global matrix organisations.
