Associate Project Engineer

Purpose

Make technical and economic proposals for Projects, Products and/or services supplied by the company based on existing procedures, customer requirements, and technology developed by SEL and thus support compliance with the company's sales plan and specific objectives from the proposal area.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Analyze and evaluate the business opportunities suitable for the company in order to provide information that helps determine the technical / economic viability of the company's projects.

2. Interpret the specifications and requirements of the client to generate an innovative technical proposal that meets the specifications and makes use of the company's technology.

3. Formulate clarification questions of the scope of the project or applicable specifications to guarantee a clear understanding of the scope and avoid ambiguities during the execution of the projects.

4. Develop Technical proposals for Products and Services to conform the commercial offers related to the supply of products and services of the company.

5. Budget the costs related to the technical offer, according to the procedures defined to allow the Sales Managers to determine the sale price of the project or service to be supplied.

6. Manage and standardize practical knowledge of the products and services offered by the company to ensure the proper and correct use of these in the proposals.

7. Provide technical and economic elements in the delivery of the projects won to the operational area in order to transmit all the information available during the quotation process to the execution team.

8. Advise the doubts or questions that the sales manager or the operations group has regarding the scope of the proposal in order to clearly and precisely define the scope of the proposal.

9. Identify, measure and improve processes to standardize and optimize work practices.

Requirements (Education/Experience/Training/Skills/Competencies)

Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Electrician or related.
